Spring Snow Splash!?!?
It may feel like spring in the city, but still winter in the mountains! Lots of snow in the mountains this year so plenty to play on this weekend, just bring your sunscreen! Both buses are now full, but there are cheap buses leaving Shinjuku so check the internet and come on up on Saturday. Looking forward to a great weekend!

Free Pre-Party / 2 Buses Full
Don't miss the free pre-party on Friday night at The Pub. Tickets can be purchased for Snow Splash before 9pm at the Pre-party. Two buses are filled leaving Tokyo with Tokyo Snow Club. Contact them for cancellations or come on up. They will be staying at the More Resort just down the road from The Pub at Mominoki if you are looking for a place to stay. Basic but affordable accommodation.

Thank you to all the great people in Minakami that made Snow Splash such a great weekend. A big thanks to Canyons, all the artists and staff, the Tokyo Snow Club who ran the Babylon buses and all the guests that brought such positive vibes! Time to get re-charged and ready for Hakuba, Feb. 27!

Snow Splash Hakuba at The Pub & Altitude Nightclub


Announcement! Snow Splash 2010 in Hakuba (Feb. 27) will be held at The Pub & Altitude Nightclub next to the Mominoki Hotel in Wadano - near the slopes of Happo-one Ski Resort. There will be plenty of activities during the Snow Splash weekend including the Red Bull Snow Charge (Sat), a Roots Skate Jam (Sat) and a Snow Splash Pre-Party (Fri). Tickets now on sale!

Only 500 tickets sold per show so get your tickets to see Kora, Very Be Careful, Volgrooma, Tex & the Sunflower Seed, EKD, W.E.T. Bandwagon - and that's just Minakami! Even more great music and entertainment in Hakuba! You won't find this much music for ticket prices this low anywhere in Japan. Includes free drink and chance to win some free stuff! All inclusive "Babylon Bus Tour"  packages also available.

Tickets go on sales Dec. 10 for Snow Splash 2010 in Minakami and Hakuba. Only 500 tickets sold for each show so make sure you get yours early for a chance to see all this music under one snow-covered roof!

Snow Splash pre-sales ends today at 2pm. If you do not make payments (by furikomi) today before 2pm they will not be accepted and you will need to purchase tickets at the door. A few seats are still left on the bus and you can reserve by contacting bus@reggaesnowsplash.com. Bus leaves Tokyo at 2:30pm on Friday. See you in Hakuba!

Snow Splash Pre-Party in Naeba: Special Guest!
We're happy to announce A Guy Called Gerald will bring 20 years of dance music to the Snow Splash Pre-party in Naeba. He fuses everything from hip-hop, to reggae, to avant-garde jazz to create beautiful, melodic tracks that, above all, are all about the music.

Gerald has collaborated with everyone from Frankie Knuckles and Goldie to Derrick May and Herbie Hancock. His remix credits are equally impressive with reworks in his back catalogue for David Bowie, Lamb, Stone Roses, Can, Tricky and Roman Flugel as well as tours with the likes of New Order and Bebel Gilberto.
